each player will have a general, doesn't matter if they are both from the same nation. they roll for initiative to see who goes first. then they each draw 6 cards and the person going second draws an additional card.
First phase, draw a card unless otherwise stated by an ability, support or spell. energy points are gained at 5 points a turn unless otherwise stated by an ability, support or spell
Second phase, rank up: put onto the battlefield any soldier or creature card. you may play only one card this turn so choose wisely.
Third phase, support: you may play one support card, if you cant play a support, draw a card.
Fourth phase, attack: all soldiers can attack using an unarmed melee attack at no cost to energy points. with attackers you must declare who you are attack. players may not attack on their first turn. recover phase, when attacking occurs, both parties will roll a d20, if the attacker wins, the attack goes through, if the defender wins, the attack misses. rolls between 18 and 20 from the attacker are critical hits if they go through. players may not attack the general for five turns. after five turns they must defeat opposing soldiers and/or creatures before directing attacks at the general. when the generals health reaches zero, the match is over. energy points are gained at 5 points a turn unless otherwise stated by an ability, support or spell.
